This is a website that I made in June of 2015, when, after being called to go to Charleston, I decided to make a documentary about what it would be like to actually run for President Of The United States in a country that I long admired. The plan, in the documentary, was to try to get a legitimate Vice President who would take over from me, after a Constitutional Convention. I wanted Al Gore.

Never officially registered in 2015 and was stopped from running by the State of South Carolina, as I described in my memoir, ‘A Fractured Dream,’
————————
Put my name in officially just as Trump did, a symbolic vote against this traitorous, unethical trickster, in 2023.

NOT RUNNING.

VOTE FOR PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN!!!

America, Her Faith and My Effort To Bring Healing to This Great Nation

by

Brian Matthew Mannix

There are certain critical moments in history where forces that we both know and cannot possibly understand come together to challenge us to no longer remain in the background, but to stand up and fight for what we believe in.  I believe that we, as a united nation, sometimes divided, are right in the middle of possibly one of the greatest potential turning points in America’s inspired history, since our nation’s very inception with our forefathers’ Declaration of Independence.  We have arrived from some kind of immaculate combination of potentially both pre-destination, one which has come about, ironically, with and through the very exercise of our own free will, and which has been increasingly threatened due the omnipresent and increasingly powerful and often invasive efforts to maintain our security in the name of our freedom.

I am someone who, at my core, believes in the ideals embedded in both our founding declaration of individual rights and the concept that governments were created to protect both the free will and the very exercise of that will, which due to the apparent collapse of our current structure of government’s utility, seem to no longer be able to effectively handle.

As a result, the citizens of this great nation, have lost faith in the ability of our government to truly represent and stand up for the beliefs, ideals, worldviews and fabric of the disparate interests that flow through, not only every individual, but also through every state and every political party as well as our Federal government.

We stand divided in our unity and tested in our faith in the very institutions that have at the same time brought us together, as we regretfully sometimes drift apart.  The lack of courage of so many of the leaders of this nation has been astonishing, while at the same time, the very structures of our power has handcuffed the exercise and nurturance of ideas, transitions and tradition that, if we are not careful, will gradually slip beyond the control of “We the People.”

Abraham Lincoln, a man of great courage, honor, mindfulness and conviction, led this nation through its most tumultuous of challenges while he, not only brought us together in the midst of the Civil War with the completion of the transcontinental railroad, but also brought together, all of the world’s inhabitants when he turned the purpose of the American Civil War from a goal of preserving the Union within our divided nation, to a fight for human rights, dignity and equality of opportunity with the issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation to not only, the brothers and sisters in the Confederate States of America, but to a waiting world, who was able to see the true grit, determination and ideals that these United States of America, have been fertilized with, both from the stains of the blood shed on its behalf and with the faith inspire by God which means so many different things to so many of us.

With the great sacrifice of nine inspiring, courageous and loving leaders from the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopalian Church, who were slain by a misguided and disillusioned 21 year old boy, seeking to start the second American Civil War, this country has proved, thus far, that once again, it serves as a City Upon A Hill, an example for the world, through both the faith She has expressed in a Holy Spirit that can and has guided us through our many great challenges, along with those who adamantly believe to the core of their souls that love is the only thing that can conquer both anger and its impotent father, evil.

As a result of all of the moments that have led our nation and this world to this potential tipping point in the pivotal axis of leadership, free will and of speaking truth to power, where sometimes the powerful have let us down in ways that only leave us with one option.

We, together, stand up for our government which was created of the people, by the people and for the people.  At this moment, inspired by the faith I have in the wisdom of my family, of my God and of all that I believe could be true for this great nation, I have decided to take up residency in the state of South Carolina, where the very seedlings of local control have remained a guiding force for those who still believe in the autonomy of free will and that only those who live and directly experience the primary sources of history, should control the ability of their own local governmental structures to express and protect the will of its people.

In the very state that seceded from our great Union in an effort to maintain the Jeffersonian concept of local control an equal opportunity for all as expressed in our initial Declaration of Independence which led to the formation of the weak, yet conceptually beautiful Articles of Confederation, which was later replaced by our exquisitely crafted and eloquently fluid Constitution, I would like to declare my ambition to run for President of the United States of America under the following platform:

I will run for President of these once united and now seemingly divided states of America, and while knowing that any chances of winning are slim to none, I would respectfully ask that the people of this great nation, consider my proposal for a new way forward.

My proposal is the following, and comes inspired from my family lineage, on the sides of both my mother and my father, a lineage that gave birth to my great, great, great, great, great, great Grandfather, Richard Henry Lee’s proposal before our Second Continental Congress to declare that our colonies become free and independent states, United, through the words of Thomas Jefferson in the very Declaration of Independence, whose ideals I seek to protect:

The Proposal:

Our entire United States government, including the leaders of its Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches as well its 50 state governments, its territories, and with input from all of its citizens and with an open ear to the opinions of all of the residents of our sacred Mother Earth,  have a mindful, honest and truly transparent debate, utilizing the great history of this nation, and all of the lessons that it offers, as well as the insight, ideals and beauty of its people, in an effort to discuss and put into place a new structure or a new way of working within our existing paradigm of governmental institutions, to guarantee, not only a more effective expression of the will of all of the United States’s citizens, but a more effective expression of that will that maintains both individual and local autonomy as well as the most important ideal that our Federal Government has been designed to protect:  the equal and just protection under the law of our land of all its citizens with the guiding concept inspired by each and every valuable religious tradition that holds the golden rule above all else.

That rule, for which I am willing to fight and to die for, if necessary,  is that all autonomous creatures of this earth should do unto others as they would have done to themselves and, more importantly, to their children.  It is the children that our nation and every nation should be designed to protect and nurture.  If this national and, hopefully global discussion, can take place without distraction and with the full ideals, beliefs, desires, hopes and dreams of every human being in United States, of every creed and those with none, from every background, of every sex and sexual orientation, from those with wealth and those with none, of every race, which these days, seems like a truly archaic concept, and once the deliberations and discussions have inspired a new and more promising governmental system of, by and for all the people in this great nation, I will immediately resign the Presidency, should I somehow gain the support of this nation’s people and win a majority of its Electoral College, and allow my Vice President, a man, women or person of transgender from any or no political party, who will undoubtedly have much greater experience, insight and abilities than I myself can ever hope to muster, to take over the reigns in order to lead our nation once again, to a position where She can lead the world, together, with respect guided by a deep and devoted divine love, as one.

I am not a Democrat or a Republican.  I am not white, nor black.  I am not heterosexual, or gay.  I am neither a religious institution’s servant or an atheist or agnostic’s mindful leader.  I am neither a Native American, or an immigrant. I am neither rich, nor poor.  I am all of these things and, if you really think about, so are all of you.  At my core, however, I am American and it is for Her people and Her ideals that I pledge my life.

From the deepest part of my soul, I ask, respectfully, for your support and your vote to do honor to my parents, my extended family, my friends and most important to me, my legacy, which is embodied in my three remarkable boys and my angel girl whose contributions will hopefully live on long after I have left this earth.

Sincerely,

Brian Matthew Mannix
